This song always gets me pumped for school haha. I used to listen to it every morning last year before school started; other than that little tidbit about me, then no, this song has absolutely no connection to the beginning of the school year or anything regarding school for that matter. Oh well, enjoy!

Warria Agenders
Wakefield Warrior Agenda Books are on sale today, after school in the café, and at lunch today and Friday for only $10.00.
For my agenda, I print out calendars from Microsoft Outlook. Doesn't cost a cent, but if you really want to support those punks in the Junior Class, go ahead and get a book. And don't forget the accented e in café.

L'Ecole Commence Aujourd'hui
English: School Starts Today
I hope everyone that reads the Etudiant has had a great summer and looks forward to next summer. I think our last day (non-Seniors) is June 19th. That is many homework assignments away, so don't get too excited.

Failing in school? Just take some Ritalin.
Ellie Honan of Concord is excited about starting fourth grade this week. That's a new feeling for her. In previous years September was something to dread. For Ellie, going to school meant feeling stupid.
"Second grade was tough, but by third grade she was painfully shy and self-conscious," says her mother, Christine.
Teachers reported that Ellie seemed bewildered in the classroom. She daydreamed and never raised her hand. Testing revealed a bright child with some reading difficulties. The school provided a specialist, and Ellie began to do better, even scoring in the 90s on spelling tests.
In third grade, the help ended, but problems persisted. Ellie's frequent refrain was, "I just don't get it." Homework almost always involved tears and hours of mom sitting by her side.
Turns out Ellie has a problem with working memory, a term used to describe the ability to retain information from the top of a page to the bottom.
Of course, there's skeptics who suspect this is just another disorder some scientist pulled out of his ass to explain to parents why their kids are stupid. Not that I'm one of them. Okay, maybe.

As detailed in our Back to School letter, we will open on Wednesday, September 5 with a staggered start. Bus pickup will be at 6:50 for Grade 9 and at 9:50 for Grades 10-12. Bus passes are available befor and after school in the Main Office.
In an effort to increase the comfort level of our freshmen, they alone will report at 7:30 AM.
The upperclassmen will not begin terrorizing the freshmen until 11.
