France Supports Barack Obama

Aucun hésitant, aucune voix discordante, parmi eux.
What does that mean? It means they support Barack Obama. Yes, France...ungodly France...supports Barack Obama. What are you going to do?! We have Al-Qaida in favor of McCain and now France in favor of Obama. What do I suggest? Ron Paul.

Rwanda Accuses France

Rwanda formally accused senior French officials on Tuesday of involvement in its 1994 genocide and called for them to be put on trial.

Among those named in a report by a Rwandan investigation commission were former French Prime Minister Dominique de Villepin and late President Francois Mitterrand.

Kigali has previously accused Paris of covering up its role in training troops and militia who carried out massacres that killed some 800,000 people, and of propping up the ethnic Hutu leaders who orchestrated the slaughter. - Yahoo News!
This can't be good.

Jérôme Kerviel Named In Société Générale Scandal

The French bank Société Générale stunned financial markets today by revealing that it had been the victim of a near-€5 billion (£3.7 billion) rogue trading fraud, one of the world's largest and four times the size of the cover-up by Nick Leeson, the man who sank Barings.

The bank declined to identify the trader, but he has been named as Jérôme Kerviel, a 31-year-old options trader.

"He is not here and we do not know when he will be back," said a colleague who answered his line at the bank's trading room in La Défense, the business district west of Paris.

Three of Mr Kerviel's SocGen colleagues said that they were "not authorised to discuss" their friend and directed inquiries to the bank. - Times Online

Ouch.
