9/11 remembered

New Yorkers are doing all they can to preserve the way September 11 is commemorated, and with it falling on a Tuesday for the first time since 2001, the day is another trigger of tragic memories.

On this day, six years ago, terrorists killed 2,974 innocent people. For my generation, this is the day everyone will remember for the rest of their lives. Let's hope such a loss of life will never again occur.
