Resettlement

This is another poem from Sophomore year; i'm just blowing off the dust this morning! I'm not sure if this has any meaning, I forget. Well, you can be the judge.

Resettlement

Walking peacefully through the desert
I was approached by a distraught Apache warrior who
convinced me to leave abruptly because a
storm was heading this way.
Naturally, I refused to heed his caveat
and I continued my arduous journey.
Unfortunately, as the day began to unwind
I grew lethargic and desperately needed water.
But there was nothing there to quench my thirst.
Out of the corner of my right eye
I caught a brief glimpse of the storm.
Countless malicious soldiers
stampeded in my direction.
Feeling smaller than ever before,
I had no place to flee to.
From out of nowhere, the Native American,
who previously warned me of the storm,
raced into action and retrieved me
from the bestial soldiers
and returned me to my home.
