More than 100 Wakefield students are set to change schools next fall as a result of a redistricting plan approved by the School Committee last month.
Under the plan, elementary school district lines will be redrawn so that all students will attend the school that is within a 2-mile radius of their homes.
The change is designed to provide greater parity in class sizes in the town's four elementary schools. It was selected from among four options the district considered to meet that goal. - Boston Globe
I sort of wish I had the chance to go to the Woodville. If I was one of the students redistricted away from the Woodville, I'd be pretty pissed.
