George Bush might be enthusiastic for the Iraq war now, but in less than a year,There was an ad for John McCain on the page I got this from. I agree with him that we should finish what we started. However, I don't think that we should have gone in in the first place.
there will be a new President. And undoubtedly the conflict will be a defining
legacy of the Bush administration. "The battle is noble," Bush told military
officials at the Pentagon, "it is necessary and it is just and with your
courage, the battle in Iraq will end in victory."
And though the Presidential
campaign is taking over from Iraq in the minds of Americans, the conflict is
still playing a major part in the campaign itself.
