KHARTOUM (Reuters) - A powerful Darfur rebel group on Sunday demanded one-on-oneGuess who?
peace talks with the Sudanese government, saying it was the only viable
insurgent force left in the war-torn region.
Justice and Equality Movement (JEM) leader Khalil Ibrahim said talks should be
mediated by former U.N. Secretary General Kofi Annan and negotiations should
spread beyond Darfur to cover "marginalised" territories across Sudan.
