"Speak to Me/Breathe" - One of the best openers in a song that I've ever heard. 9 out of 10
"On the Run" - Psychedelic and synth-heavy instrumental. Great mix of progression and recession. 9 out of 10
"Time" - You get a complete experience with the clock ticking in the background and amazing singing and guitar playing. 9.5 out of 10
"The Great Gig in the Sky" - There are only four lines in this song. The "ooooohohhowowow" singing makes for an uplifting experience. 8 out of 10
"Money" - Nice use of a cash register. The guitar solo is top notch -- and quite lengthy. 9 out of 10
"Us and Them" - Very slow and saxophone-y. A good song if you just want to chill out and listen. 8.5 out of 10
"Any Colour You Like" - Another tune of the instrumental variety. Heavy on good guitar playing, which of course is a great thing. 9 out of 10
"Brain Damage" - The only song that I was a little familiar with before listening to the entire album. The lyrics are obscure, but great. 9.5 out of 10
"Eclipse" - A great closer to a great album. 9 out of 10
Total Score: 8.9 out of 10

Easily the greatest album of all time, imho.
ReplyDeleteClassic album! Press play after the MGM lion roars the third time. It TOTALLY works, man!
