MELROSE — Crews from at least 11 communities, including Wakefield, helped Melrose firefighters battle a four-alarm blaze in a two-family home on Franklin Street Wednesday afternoon, not too far from Greenwood Street.Our town's athletes, however, would have just let Melrose burn.
