Myanmar update


NEW DELHI: India has asked Myanmar, a country with which it has forged deep links in recent years to counter China's influence as well as seek its help to flush out Indian insurgent groups operating from its soil, to hasten political reforms and bring about national reconciliation.

Welcome to the club, India. The club of everyone trying to bring about change in Myanmar. Count me among those who are hoping for such change...but I'm not so sure it'll actually happen.
