WAKEFIELD - It was standing room only last night in the auditorium of the Public
Safety building where members of the town's Finance Committee presented a bleak
financial picture to concerned residents.
Didn't see this one coming.
If additional revenue is not received, FY’09 personal services will need to be
cut by approximately 1 percent to increase the capital budget to meet
requirements, cover fixed costs, health care, provide for new contracts and
balance the budget.
