This Week in É: July 3-10, 2008

I've realized something: the other writers are slowly, but surely, taking over. Not that that's a bad thing - I'm out of here at the end of August anyway - in fact, it's led to another big week here. Glen posted his AP History essay on Prohibition, drawing the attention of The Prohibition Era author Suzanne Lieurance. A few days later, Glen posted the hilarious viral video, "I'm Voting Republican", prompting a comment from one of the video's stars, Jason J. Baker, A.K.A. Rev. David Madison.
Meanwhile, Chris and Glen talked about Chomksy and the Minutemen, Fallon took some photos, and we all put our music players on shuffle. As for me, I'm just trying to stay tuned to the latest news. The fun never ends...and stay tuned for the much-hyped revamp, which Glen and I have been working on, along with a talented designer named Ed Vo....

  1. Another great This Week in É, Ben!

To our viewers, please note that the revamp is going quite well! The banner is done (looks spectacular) and the complete homepage should be done shortly. The site design is going to look slightly different from the picture in this post.

  2. I hope that it's better quality than that Glen. I know you liked making websites, so I'm expecting something better.

  3. I also posted my AP History research paper, and it received a response from some pro drug war nutcase or someone trying to fuck with me, by pretending to be a pro drug war nutcase.

  4. I think the banner is too big. I might try and come up with a logo. It's not that I don't like it. It's just way too big, IMO.

  5. Alright, Fallon, I took down my crappy homemade banner. And believe me, Ed Vo's design looks much, MUCH better than that rough sketch of mine. If you want to see it...I.M. me...

  6. Peter, you will be impressed to say the least.
