The Wakefield High School Marching Band has been awarded a first place gold distinction by the New England Scholastic Band Association. The Band, which is Division 4, scored an impressive 77.6 in an October 11th competition. The second place band -- Plymouth High School -- ended up with a 77.2, showing just how close the competition was. On behalf of the Wakefield Étudiant, congratulations to the Marching Band!
