Yesterday (June 24) the School Committee posted the 2008-2009 district wide school calendar on the "Calendar" page of the Wakefield Public Schools website. So what do we know from it?
- School Starts on Wednesday, September 3rd (1/2 Day for Non-Freshmen)
- No school on Friday, October 10 and Monday, October 13 (Columbus Day)
- Early release on Wednesday, October 29
- No school on Tuesday, November 11 (Veterans Day)
- No school on Thursday, November 27 and Friday, November 28 (Thanksgiving Break)
- No school on Wednesday, December 10
- No school from Wednesday, December 24 to January 4 (Christmas Break) [12 Days Off]
- No school on Monday, January 19 (MLK Day)
- No school on Friday, February 6
- No school from Monday, February 16 to Friday, February 20 (Vacation)
- Early release on Wednesday, March 11
- No school on Friday, April 10 (Good Friday)
- No school from Monday, April 20 to Friday, April 24 (Vacation)
- No school on Monday, May 25 (Memorial Day)
- Finals begin on Monday, June 15 and end on Friday, June 19
