Iraq update

BAGHDAD, June 17 (Reuters) - A powerful car bomb exploded in Baghdad on Tuesday, killing 11 people and wounding 42, in one of the biggest attacks in the Iraqi capital in months.

And according to this article, Iraq is the last place a journalist should want to be.
In other violence, gunmen killed Iraqi television presenter Mohieldin Abdul-Hameed in a drive-by shooting on Tuesday in Mosul, 390 km (240 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.

Around 180 reporters or assistants have been killed in Iraq since the invasion, according to New York-based watchdog the Committee to Protect Journalists.
