Local woman needs chair lift

WAKEFIELD — If it’s true that what goes around comes around, then Rose Hamilton will get her wish to have an electric stair chair lift installed in her Montrose Avenue home.

That lift would greatly help her daughter...
...She needs a new chair lift so her daughter, Barbara Hakioglu, 47, does not have to be confined to only three rooms. “It’s horrible, depressing,” said Hakioglu about being confined. “I haven’t seen my kitchen in over a year.”
A new chair lift will cost between $6,000-$7,000.
“Barbara suffers from advanced multiple sclerosis (MS) and cannot climb stairs,” said Hamilton, Hakioglu’s caretaker.
