Pakistani president declares state of emergency

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan - Gen. Pervez Musharraf declared a state of emergency in Pakistan on Saturday ahead of a crucial Supreme Court ruling on his future as president, suspending the constitution, replacing the chief justice and cutting communications in the capital.

Wow, what a great president. Way to use your country's constitution as toilet paper and give yourself "emergency" powers. Let's hope George doesn't see this story and get any ideas.
