PARIS: President Nicolas Sarkozy said Tuesday he wants to bring back French charity workers facing trial in Chad on charges of kidnapping children, despite stiff resistance from Chadian authorities.
On Sunday, Sarkozy negotiated the release of three journalists and four Spanish flight attendants detained with the workers.
