Patriots Barely Claim Victory, 27-24

Down 20-24 with four minutes left in the game, the Patriots had to score a touchdown or else they would be handed their first loss of the season. Tom Brady made a nice fourth down run for a first, saving the Patriots from defeat. With a little under a minute left in the game, Brady fired a pass to Jabar Gaffney in the corner of Baltimore's end zone. Upon review, the catch was confirmed and the Patriots were now leading 27-24. On the final drive of the game Baltimore QB Kyle Boller fired the ball from his own 40 yard line with 6 seconds remaining and found heavily covered Mark Clayton. Clayton caught the ball at the 2 yard line of New England, but a host of Patriots defenders were able to stop him from scoring and were able to keep the Patriots' win streak alive.
