Why You Should Listen To Animal Collective: Animal Collective isn't your typical band. They aren't going to gain mainstream radio play anytime soon because they aren't "safe". Songs often consist of random chanting and chapping. Take, for example, their lyrics on the song "Who Could Win A Rabbit":

Your coffee sure is getting colder
Your teeth are getting fewer spaces in the way
You could win a rabbit
You could build a rabbit with a rib
Wabbit or habit, habit or real
Wabbit or habit, habit or real
Rabbit or habit
Dododododo!
Give Animal Collective a try. Experimental music might be your thing and you don't even know about it!

Grade: A+ - A for Amazing. I listen to Animal Collective at least 30 times a day. I would recommend "Fireworks" if you are trying to choose between what song to listen to first.
