Thanks to superb pitching by Josh Beckett, the Red Sox were able to hold the Indians to just one run last night. Beckett struck out an amazing 11 Indian hitters. C.C Sabathia, Cleveland's starter, didn't have that great a night as he allowed four runs in six innings.
The top of the batting order is where the Red Sox saw most of its production. Dustin Pedroia, Kevin Youkilis, David Ortiz and Manny Ramirez combined went 5 for 10 and also knocked in 6 out of the 7 runs.
Game 6 on Saturday will have Curt Schilling opposing Fausto Carmona on the mound.
