ROGERS, United States (AFP) — The United States on Monday urged the international community to step up pressure on Myanmar's military rulers, saying they were blatantly disregarding calls to end a crackdown on dissent.
President Bush said that what was needed was "enormous international pressure, to make it clear to the generals that they will be completely isolated and not accepted into the international community of nations."
