WHS News

There will be a meeting for all Amnesty International members on Thursday, October 25, after school in room 2221.

People are free to do whatever they want, but I find it quite ironic that an organization such as Amnesty International which champions human rights is supportive of a woman's right to kill an unborn child. Hmmmmmm

  1. Thanks for reminding me! I'm joining tomorrow. The point of it is to make sure all humans have equal rights. As far as I'm concerned, a woman should have the right to choose. And it's not like abortion is their only issue. They work to end abuse towards women, end torture, and help people in areas like Darfur. So maybe you shouldn't pick on an organization that does a lot of good, just because you disagree with them on one issue.

  2. I agree with most of their other issues, but it is not cool for them to be "pro-life" on some issues rather than pro-life on all the issues.

  3. I find it kind of funny that the text on this post is small, as if you're scared what people will say.

  4. Glen, I respect that you have your own opinion on this subject, but please understand where i'm coming from when i tell you that you really don't know what you're talking about. It's understandably hard for you to form an accurate view on this issue when you don't really have access to all the information necessary. When you become pregnant let me know.
