Genre: Blues

There's nothing better than the blues. This collection is far from what you may expect. Albert King (1923-1992) wasn't a man who just sat on the porch of his log cabin playing guitar. Far from it: on every track, he's backed by a superb band. The horns! Some of the songs, like "King's Bounce" and "Born Under a Bad Sign" are as groovy as it gets. "The Very Thought of You" is a slow, soulful ballad. All in all, a great introduction to a great blues man.
